When I make the short commute to Green Gulch Farm + Zen Center, it feels like I'm landing in another world. Nestled within a lush valley along the coastal range, this idyllic setting invites you to pause, breathe deeply, and nurture a profound connection with your inner self, your body, and the natural world. This retreat provides the perfect opportunity to step out of everyday life and immerse yourself in a peaceful environment where you can connect deeply with your body and breath. Come on a transformative journey that nurtures your spirit and fosters a sense of community among like-minded individuals, all while prioritizing your well-being in this supportive, restorative atmosphere.

As you arrive at Green Gulch, you are greeted by eucalyptus, redwoods, and Muir Beach, just a short walk from our practice space. Nearby trails lead to Muir Woods to the north, and the Golden Gate National Recreation Area to the south. 

Our retreat will begin Friday afternoon at 4:00 PM with our first of four yoga practices and three meditation sessions. Plan to arrive at 3:00 p.m. to check into the Japanese-inspired Guest House. Each yoga practice will gradually open the body through active and quiet postures, restorative poses, self-myofascial massage for chronic tension, and breathing awareness to support our relaxation response. During your stay at Green Gulch Farm, there will be ample personal time for exploration, journaling, resting, and reflection.

Investment:

Single Accommodation: $720

Shared Accommodation: $600

Your fee includes 2 nights of lodging, 6 vegetarian meals, tea service, yoga and Zen meditation, a studio with props, and parking. All accommodations are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Payment in full must be made at the time of registration. $150 of your payment is non-refundable. Cancellations made 30 days or less from the start of the retreat are fully non-refundable.
